This study conducted to evaluate the efficiency of honey bee products (royal jelly and propolis) against methicillin resistance Staphylococcus aureus ,irregular using for antibiotic led to wide diffusion of bacterial resistance for more antibiotics that due to search for natural factors against these bacteria.
In this study was taken 50 samples isolated from burn patients of hospitals, that were positive for mannitol and hemolysis tests, the diagnosis was confirmed by using the Vitec 2 compact technique that were 28 samples resistant to methicillin, conducted sensitivity tests (diffusion in agar method), and the result was that royal jelly was superior to propolis by using ratios (22.65,27.6) for R.J. (6.6,12.75,14.65) for propolis at concentration (25,50,100) respectively.
